Money you must show
The German Embassy in Dublin lists €1,027 a month, or €12,324 for 12 months, and calls it a 2024 figure that can change. Other guides quote higher amounts for 2026, so ask your embassy for the current number. You can show savings, a blocked account, a sponsor declaration or a part-time contract, or a mix.
Is it for you?
- It is not for everyone. You need a degree or a professional qualification of at least 2 years, so ask the embassy how yours counts.
- It costs real money up front, and no job is guaranteed.
- A real job offer is a safer start if you can get one first.
